Our work directly contributes to four of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Through our programs and advocacy we hope to achieve the following goals by 2030 and call individuals and organizations to join in this global movement.
In 2018, we have worked to link Her Turn and His Chance participants with their respective newly elected representatives in Rural Municipalities. During these dialogues, girls and boys presented their concerns, ideas, and recommendations to five Rural Municipalities: Helambu, Indrawati, Panchpokhari, Bhotekoshi and Jugal. These dialogues were facilitated by our Social Mobilizers and involved other relevant local stakeholders, such as Parent Teacher Associations, School Management Committees, Mothers’ Groups, or Gender Based Violence Watch Groups.
